Pat Stockdon formed Indesign in 1980 to serve residential clients with their interior design needs. She has a four year interior design degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is state-certified. Pat is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and past-president of the Virginia Chapter of ASID. Her work has been published both locally and nationally.
Indesign's clientele ranges from young couples who wish to avoid making expensive mistakes with their first home to empty-nesters who are downsizing. Projects include complete design assistance through construction of new homes, as well as smaller re-modeling of interior spaces.
Clients find that Pat is flexible and understanding of their tastes and budgets. After an initial consultation fee, clients work with Pat on an hourly basis. Fees for interior design services may be partially offset by profit on retail sales.
As a sole proprietor, Pat is directly in charge of each project. She employs numerous tradespeople to serve her clients' needs.
